“The Natural Order of Things” named in the top 10 records of 2014 (so far)

So…It’s halfway through 2014 and both City Pages and VitaMn have named our record The Natural Order of Things in the top ten record of 2014 (so far)!!!!

From City Pages:

Two Harbors – The Natural Order of Things

Anyone left wondering where all of the guitars have gone in the local music scene should certainly check out Two Harbors. The Britpop-influenced quartet delivers a towering wall of guitars amidst their catchy, dynamic numbers, then hit you with massive choruses that you won’t be able to get out of your head. The album was recorded at Flowers Studio in Minneapolis, and mastered at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, which creates a rousing mix of the modern sound of the Twin Cities blended with the indelible echoes of British rock and roll. Have at it.

And from VitaMn:

Two Harbors — ‘The Natural Order of Things’

Why reinvent the wheel when you’re on a roll? Duluth native Chris Pavlich and his standard-edition two-guitar quartet stick to their unabashedly Oasis-like ’90s Brit-rock sound like ice cream sticks to a toddler’s face. Having the record mastered at Abbey Road Studios only reinforced the band’s rock-solid foundation. From the thundering opener “There Is Love” to the poppier “Fall to Pieces,” the songs have an immediately familiar, classic tone — and might just be classics themselves.
